The Prince Edward Island has one toll bridge: The Confederation Bridge[1], also known as “Fixed Link”. This toll bridge spans the Abegweit Passage of Northumberland Strait. The curved 12.9 kilometres (8 miles) long bridge links Prince Edward Island with mainland New Brunswick.

Confederation Bridge tolling agencies and contacts

The Confederation Bridge is operated by Strait Crossing Bridge Limited (SCBL)[3], a subsidiary of the Strait Crossing Development Inc. consortium which built the structure. SCBL will privately manage, maintain, and operate the bridge until 2032 when these operations will transfer to the Government of Canada.
