What is I-Pass

I-Pass is accepted in Illinois, Chicago Skyway and Indiana along with E-ZPass

I-Pass is the electronic toll collection system for payment of toll on Illinois toll roads and bridges. I-Pass, like E-ZPass on the east coast toll roads, is an electronic tag that you can install in your windshield to zoom through electronic toll gantries. You can use I-Pass tag on toll roads that accept E-ZPass.

Discounts for I-Pass

Using I-Pass on Illinois toll roads and bridges offers a 50% discount to drivers using the Illinois I-Pass on state toll roads. Ordering an I-Pass transponder requires an initial $30 for the first transponder. Vehicles without a transponder tag attached pay the cash toll rate.
